Yu-Pu (Frances) is a bilingual film editor from Taiwan and is now based in the UK. Her work emphasises topics on cultural identity, race and gender.

Her recent work includes STOMACH BUG, directed by Matty Crawford, which has been officially selected by the 2024 edition of Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festical Short Film Competiton. Also ADURA BABA MI, directed by Juliana Kasumu, which premieres at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival.

Yu-Pu graduated from the NFTS Editing MA, winning Best Editing at the Royal Television Society’s Student awards. Her graduation fiction film KILLING BORIS JOHNSON was officially selected in the 2023 Cannes Film Festival La Cinef category. Her documentary film WITH WOMAN won Best Student Documentray at the Grierson Awards and RTS awards and a feature is currently in-production with BBC Storyville.
